5. A nonviolent protest is when people are peaceful and dont get aggressive. A lot of protests are nonviolent but at the same time a lot of them do get violent. We do nonviolent protests to keep people safe. When Rosa Parks did not give up her seat in the bus that is an example of a peaceful protest
